This is a great idea! After the class I took in college called Black Transnational Cultures, I've realized that America does not have a monopoly on racism. Afro Europeans can have a very difficult time dealing with the perceptions and discrimination they get exposed to.

My school recently had an incident on Halloween where two students painted their bodies black to portray Serena Williams and Bob Marley. We held a forum after, but a lot of people were upset that others even felt the need to talk about it. We learned in my Social Meaning of Race class that oftentimes, people who want to talk about social problems get painted as the perpetrators of said problems. I, however, think that these problems need to be talked about to be eradicated. So kudos on that, I hope the event went well!
