Black Women in Europe: Celebrating black women in Europe.

The Black Women in Europe Social Media Group will be the funnel through which information is shared from Black Women’s Organizations across Europe to black Women across Europe.
We will leverage the power of the Internet, social media and word of mouth to empower black Women in Europe because as we all know, information is power.
I am in the process of submitting paperwork to the Swedish authorities to start a non-profit group with the aim of providing positive and accurate portrayals of Black Women in Europe in the social media.
9 wonderful women living in Europe have agreed to be on the Advisory Board.
I will keep you posted of the progress here.
UPDATE December 2008: The formalizing of the Social Media Group is on hold. I am moving forward with securing our trademark and will formalize the non-profit status in the future.
