Sisters sharing knowledge – Hair Peace 2012

From Lori van Echtelt in the Netherlands

I saw the sign “Hair Peace” on an old news spot about the sleep in protest of John Lennon and Yoko Ono in Amsterdam. It got me to thinking about the term “Hair Peace”.

How much time do you really spend thinking about your hair? Fighting with your hair? Comparing your hair to other people? Searching for products? Watching videos? How many hours, days are spent? Has it turned into years? Has it turned into an obsession? Do you believe in the myth that certain people can grow hair? Perhaps you think that you must have a certain hair texture for your hair to be loved? This is worth giving yourself time to think about.

I have a personal saying, “You can waste my money but do not waste my time, time you can not get back.” So have you achieved Hair Peace? What will it take for you to achieve Hair Peace?

I can look at certain women and see if they have achieved Hair Peace. They have a certain “peace” about them. They are good within themselves. A sense of confidence when they walk into the room. We have all at one time or another seen these women.

When I started Mariposa Import almost 8 years ago I wanted women to feel that sense of peace with their hair. I was tired of the male dominated industry that did not understand that women have busy lives. I wanted to remove the constant frustration with hair so that you would have more time enjoying life. I feel such a freedom with my hair and now I have lots of time for hobbies that I never imagined having.

If you are struggling with your hair and you really want to achieve Hair Peace in 2012, drop me an email at customersupport@mariposaimport.

Now for the product feature this month “Qhemet Biologics Castor & Moringa Softening Serum”. Apply one to two spritz in your hand and stroke through your hair. Whether it is relaxed or natural, it will soften the driest hair. It smells divine.

Love Your Hair!
